The Health Insurance Marketplace is a service run by the federal government that helps individuals, families, and employees of small businesses get health coverage.  But it is generally not a place for someone with Medicare to look for health care coverage as Marketplace plans are not designed to coordinate with Medicare. However, you may be able to purchase health care from the Marketplace before you are eligible for Medicare.
